Ik krijg deze mail, wat gaan we antwoorden en wie kan dat doen ?

Misschien moet ook de wiki op dit punt met ons gezamenlijke antwoord verbeterd worden.

Hey Netsmurf :)

I am forwarding this from IRC, in case you missed it:

The question is basically what kind of fuels/ energy sources are allowed to use for cooking. 

The Wiki page 'camping' mentions, "You are allowed to cook on gas (not charcoal!) on the field." 
That's all. Does that mean that other common fuels like petroleum, gasoline, or ethanol are not allowed? What about cooking on electricity? 

Team:fire writes: "Cooking is only allowed on gas cooking equipment. BBQ's (charcoal, wood etc) are not allowed." 
There are many camping stoves that are not gas powered, but not coal or wood, either. The same goes for barbecues; there are gas-BBQs, are these okay because gas, or not okay because barbecue? What about the other fuels for camping gear? Do we have more specific (unambigous) info on those rules?

There is also the option of cooking with electricity, f.x. on an induction hob. That would in our case be a shared kitchen in Bornhack Villlage and Labitat Village. Team Power only asks for a heads-up in advance, if a village has high power demands, they mention no limitations regarding what the power is needed for. I would still be hesitant to just assume cooking on electricity is okay, since electricity comes from generators, not the grid. Otherwise we would gladly go that route.
